Business Intelligence should help analyze the growth 360 View

The need starts from data that has grown with business and we would like see to the 360 view of what we have done, and the usual trigger is need for
“my revenue increase”. The CEO speaks : I have had increase in sales over the year now what’s that i have done has played a role.
The manager speaks : Did my sales performance increase if yes let me see where i have been effective. I would like to dig the detail of what worked well. At the same instance a passing cloud : i need to track down the my sales indicator here on..
Certainly the story is not specific util the data(in form of stats) is put in, compared with the different periods, understand the moods of the change.
The data to study for is big now.
I know some of stratergies worked, i could see the results, now what is the direction it helped to achieve the goal that was set.
Was the revenue because of sales stratergies or
was it my customer service that helped achieve customer retention and made the customer comeback to purchase frequently, and not increasing my customer base rather
increasing the loyality for website. The customers find some one better, i have no replacement by customer base never saw an increase. next is what.
My sales will drop.
This is only one view, CEO Speaks. You want the assessment of same in 360 view. The goal is revenue increase. There are various
business operations, sales stratergies, marketing ideas that are done or planned. Connect all of them and with output as revenue, each one has too many parameters to
contribute to revenue. Using BI just to measure the output of each KPI does not help. The complex part is how all the KPI worked for a goal. Use BI not just to measure the KPI for your important factors, use it to connect with goal.
Manager wants to connect output of promotions with sales which is connected to revenue increase, revenue again described the margin,
which describe the performance.
Next ask BI to handle this complexity of connecting, describing the performance. Let’s not see all data, it’s too much information.
KPI are meant to indicate the low and high, but on which stages was it low and high is the question that helps me understand what to do next.
CEO wants what are the contributions that have made a USP, it again connects with your revenue, as they are revenue generators.
The goal was to do ten things that are going to get me to next level. i want a monitoring system to help be track how they are performing,
and describe the growth rate using data.
Business Intelligence Platforms should be implemented to solve these problems, of answering real facts.

The Tale of Lord Bali and Goddess Laxmi
The king of devils Bali was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. One day Bali approached to Lord Vishnu for safeguarding his kingdom. Lord Vishnu took this task and decided to leave his heavenly home, but Goddess Laxmi wanted his husband not to leave his home. She reached to the house of Bali as a camouflaged Brahmin woman and asked for shelter.

On Shravan Purnima day Laxmi Ji tied a sacred thread on the wrist of King Bali and revealed her purpose for being there. Touched by the concern of Laxmi Ji towards her family, King Bali requested Lord Vishnu to live with her.

Therefore the Rakhi festival is also called ‘Baleva’ that means the devotion of King Bali to Lord Vishnu.

A Mahabharata Tale
Before the battle of Mahabharata, Lord Krishna told Yudhisthir, elder Pandava brother, to perform rakhi ceremony which would act as a shield for him and his army. Draupadi, wife of the Pandavas, tied a thread on Lord Krishna’s wrist, seeking his blessings for her husbands.

King Porus and Alexandar’s wife
Another rakhi tale comes from the battle between Alexander the Greek king, and Porus, the Hindu king. Wife of Alexander sent a sacred thread to Porus, asking him not to harm her husband in battle. In accordance with Hindu traditions, Porus gave full respect to rakhi. In the battlefield, when Porus was about to deliver a final blow on Alexander, he saw the rakhi on his hand and restrained himself from attacking Alexander personally.

Ways of Sending Rakhis?
Rakshabandhan festival is all about love, care and righteousness. Tying of a frail Rakhi thread- that is considered more stronger than iron chains-has been the tradition of this festival since the time immemorial. Even today the customs and traditions are the same but the way of celebrating the Rakhi festival has been changed. Different ways are used to express the emotions attached with the relationship.

Multi tasking

Children also perform multitasking very effectively. Starting at the age of 7, they are assigned task of handling 8 to 9 subjects. These subjects are completely different from one another. History of Greek culture is completely different from Science of Newton and Charles Darwin. The mathematical formulas are complicated and Shakespeare phrases are difficult to learn. But children will not request teachers to remove one subject or couple of them from their syllabus. Instead, they take it as challenge and perform extremely well in all the subjects with in the given time.

Time Management

Children utilize the time and complete the work assigned to them as per the advice given by their teachers. They knew the priority of the subject and work on the poor subjects to cover the overall percentage in their academics. Some genius students plan for a month and divide their time with a weekly schedule and even allot some time for sports and video games.

Meeting the Dead Lines

Every child is equally treated in the school as they are given a time for the examination. Which is the deadline to cover all the subjects and the deadline is always fixed and no relaxation in it. Children are aware of the time period and utilize it effectively. Past experience of Slip test and Unit test help them to analyze the time taken for each subject. This will help a lot in preparing for the Final Exams.

Targets Achieved

Every subject has certain targets such as 35 marks, 40 marks etc. Some reach the targets and are happy but some are not satisfied even after getting 80 marks. The enthusiasm is high in some students who try to achieve more than 80 % or 90 % in every exam they write. Even though teachers fix targets, genius students fix their own and study to reach their goal.

Doctors are checking for symptoms like running nose
, fever, body aches and other viral fever symptoms among the passengers.

The first death in the Texan city of Brownsville, which borders Mexico, was that of a two-year-old Mexican boy who had come across the frontier. The cause of death on Monday was pneumonia brought on by the flu virus, which is spreading human to human. So far, 91 cases have been reported from the United States and 2,400 from Mexico, where 150 people have died of the flu. The case in Hyderabad, if confirmed as swine flu, would be India’s first.

According to Andhra Pradesh principal secretary (health
) L V Subramanyam, the patient was brought to the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Narayanguda, to go through the preliminary tests for respiratory problems, cold and cough. After this he was referred to the Government Chest Hospital at Erragadda which is a quarantine centre. The patient will be kept there for 10 days of observation. The family members of the passengers do not have any symptoms and were not quarantined.

“The medical and health officials are looking at the records of all international passengers who landed in the city in the last 10 days and medical tests are being conducted on them,” Subramanyam said.

However, the chest hospital superintendent denied that any patient had been admitted with swine flu symptoms. “We were informed that a patient would be sent to the quarantine facility but he did not turn up,” superintendent S V Prasad said.

Meanwhile, health officials who started screening international passengers conducted initial tests on passengers from 15 international flights which landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad on Wednesday.

According to the doctors, none of the passengers were found to have symptoms of the flu. “The passengers from all the 15 flights were checked at the boarding point, by the flight attendants and also by the doctors who were stationed in the airport,” an airport health official, Dr K N Reddy told TOI. He said that two duty doctors screened more than 1,000 passengers from early Wednesday morning.

“While some of the passengers were ailing with other infections, including stomach aches, no one was found with conditions which are like that of swine flu,” Reddy said. He said that chances of such passengers on board a plane were less as no one with swine flu symptoms was being allowed to leave their countries.
