A chargeback occurs when a customer disagrees with a charge on their credit card and asks their credit card company to help them get their money back. When a card company issues a chargeback on a PayPal transaction, they’ll contact us for information to help decide whether or not the buyer should be refunded. The reasons for a chargeback can differ greatly, but generally it results form a buyer’s dissatisfaction with their credit card purchase.

A few common reasons are:

Unauthorized Payment
Not as Described/Defective
Non-Receipt of Merchandise
